Waterskiing in Arizona

Arizona has several waterski clubs ranging from recreational to highly competitive and from very affordable to very expensive. This site has a little for everyone, but it's main focus is competitive in nature. The site was created and is maintained by Mark Showah. Mark is the Area 7 (Arizona and New Mexico) Western Regional Representative. The intent of the site is to increase two way communication between your Regional Council Representative and the waterskiers in Area 7. The site is under construction, but will have links to the Western Region Tournaments, AZ Tournament results, Regional Council meeting minutes and other waterski related news. If you have any ideas to improve this website or information you would like added, please email Mark at mshowah@ibm.net. Hope you enjoy the site!!!

What's New!!!

Last Update 2/13/99.

Phoenix Area Waterski Team (PAWS) now has a website with meeting minutes and contact information. It's sort of new, but if you want to get into competitive skiing, improve your skills, meet cool people, or get an opportunity to learn to ski the slalom course see the link to PAWS at the left.

Firebird Lake Waterski team will be having a novice tournament series this year with prizes for each novice division at the end of the season. Please don't call Firebird Lake, they have no information on these tournaments. For info see the regional guide or watch for a link which will be added as details get finalized.

Western Region Mid-Winter meeting was held in January. Minutes are available at the link to the left.

It's getting warmer. Get ready for a great season.
